The coyote appears separately as an occasional antagonist of Bugs Bunny in five shorts from 1952 to 1963: Operation: Rabbit, To Hare Is Human, Rabbit's Feat, Compressed Hare, and Hare-Breadth Hurry. Originally meant to parody chase-cartoon characters like Tom and Jerry, they became popular in their own right.

The characters star in a long-running series of theatrical cartoon shorts (the first 16 of which were written by Maltese) and occasional made-for-television cartoons. in 1948 by animation director Chuck Jones and writer Michael Maltese, with Maltese also setting the template for their adventures. The characters were created for Warner Bros. The coyote is notably a brilliant artist, capable of quickly painting incredibly lifelike renderings of such things as tunnels and roadside scenes, in further (and equally futile) attempts to deceive the bird. The rest of the scene, shot from a bird's-eye view, shows him falling into a canyon so deep that his figure is eventually lost to sight, with only a small puff of dust indicating his impact. Another involves him falling from high cliffs, after momentarily being suspended in midair-as if the fall is delayed until he realizes that there is nothing below him. One running gag involves the coyote trying, in vain, to shield himself with a little parasol against a great falling boulder that is about to crush him. Many of the items for these contrivances are mail-ordered from a variety of companies implied to be part of the Acme Corporation. Instead of his animal instincts, the coyote uses absurdly complex contraptions (generally in the manner of Rube Goldberg) to try to catch his prey, which comically backfire, with the coyote often getting injured in slapstick fashion. In each episode, the cunning, devious and constantly hungry coyote repeatedly attempts to catch and subsequently eat the Road Runner, but is successful in catching the Road Runner (but not eating him) on only extremely rare occasions. Coyote and the Road Runner are a duo of cartoon characters from the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of animated cartoons, first appearing in 1949 in the theatrical cartoon short Fast and Furry-ous. She clearly overcrowded the tour in order to maximize how much she was making while paying as little as possible (the only other staff member was the kid I mentioned previously who seemed undertrained.) I am not only angry at the fact that I saw my mother lying motionless on the ground for 5 minutes, and that we personally had to take her to the hospital, I am pissed off at how unprepared and negligent this company and Nancy was towards this whole situation. They had added 2 extra families to our party of 11. Nancy explained that this was a new horse who hasn't adjusted to the climate and elevation yet, and without a second thought, gave the horse to a completely inexperienced rider, my mother. We waited another 10-20 minutes as she saddled a new horse. The second red flag popped up when they nearly forgot to equip my mother with a horse. There were kids below 10 years of age on our tour hearing all of this. OTHER RED FLAGS: At the stables, we waited an extra 20-30 minutes to get more horses as Nancy cursed and got angry, acting unprofessional and bitter. I am being kept up at night wondering if this company will get away with this. We were under the impression that the company had an EMT waiting to pick my mother up. My mother had to walk over to a van owned by the only other staff member on duty with the help of her relative. The children on the tour were crying and traumatized. In fact when she showed signs of moving (still on her back), she urged the tour to go on and for people to hang up on 911. People started calling 911 to which Nancy replied, 'They won't come out here.' Never once did she check on my mother. The other staff member was in shock because he was likely never trained on handling this situation. In front the entire tour, children included, Nancy cursed the jogger out in unfiltered anger, then looked horrified.

The only 2 people that came to help here was her relatives. Thank God she was not crushed by the other spooked horses. My mother was bucked off and dragged on the stirrups, damaging her face a knocking the wind out of her. To no fault on Nancy's part, a jogger ran through the forest near the horses and spooked our entire party. Do not trust Roadrunner Tours LLC with the safety of your family. The following explains what happened and the red flags.

I pray this is Nancy's day of reckoning for her years of neglecting her business and the safety of others. This tour sent my mother to the hospital.
